NursingHomeAbuse.net was founded by the National Association to Stop Nursing Home Abuse (NASNHA). NursingHomeAbuse.net exists to raise awareness of the growing nursing home abuse epidemic, to educate the public about its root causes, to help residents and their families prevent abuse, and to help victims cope with the consequences of nursing home abuse.
NASNHA is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) funded through member support and founded by industry and lay officials concerned about the prevalence of nursing home abuse in the United States.
